CLAAS Service Engineers are the key to the success of our business. We are looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join our team at our EASTERN dealership in Sinderby, Thirsk.  As a Service Engineer you'll play a key role in maintaining, servicing and supporting some of the industry's most innovative equipment. 

Main duties:

• Conducting routine maintenance and Inspections of CLAAS machinery including Tractors and Combines. 
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on CLAAS equipment.
• Conducting maintenance and repairs on third-party brands.
• Providing technical support to customers and assisting with the setup and Installation of new equipment.
• Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of repairs and services.
• Conducting inventory management on spare parts and ordering parts when required.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• A relevant qualification, or equivalent experience within the field of Land Based Engineering at Level 2+.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Willing to participate in training to improve and further your skills.
• Willingness to work overtime at peak periods is essential.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week with overtime available during peak season. You will work on a rota to share weekend and out of hours customer support.
